Food and Supplies for starving Palestinian Families

Hi all

On Friday 25th July Dave and I, along with our friends Fiona and Damien and Jo, are fasting for 24hrs to raise money for a group of Palestinian families in Gaza who have no access to food or water under the Israeli blockade. These families and all of Gaza are starving to death now.

Hala and her daughter Shahd have become close friends of our family over the last 18 months – they have come to safety in Ireland but much of their family remain in Gaza. It is for Hala’s immediate family and close friends that we are fundraising.

Food is running out fast and any items that are available are extortionately priced. Time is of the essence

Hala and Shahd live locally and are strong members of the community – indeed some of you may have met her previously

Shahd attends school in the area and Hala is part of the DunLaoghaire Meals on Wheels and works closely with Flossie the Beach Cleaners

Any money raised will go straight to the families in Gaza so that they can purchase supplies which at this point are life saving

This situation is beyond belief at this point – anything you can spare will help immensely

with love and solidarity
